Claims Services

GLOBAL provides a full suite of claims-related services. GLOBAL has broad expertise in all aspects of construction disputes such as schedule delays, differing site conditions, inefficiency, design defects, mal-administration, lost profits, etc. Depending on the client’s needs, GLOBAL can evaluate and assemble affirmative claims or develop defenses to counterclaims. GLOBAL also offers litigation support and expert witness testimony and alternative dispute resolution services. Our professionals have assisted clients with the successful resolution of hundreds of claims using both litigation and arbitration procedures.

Contract Administration

GLOBAL contract personnel are well versed in all phases of the procurement process from assisting the Client in negotiating the prime contract to subcontracting the work to the various trades. GLOBAL personnel can also develop purchase orders, organize and operate the Client’s procurement office in the field and with GLOBAL’ in house staff legal department can interface with Client’s counsel and local counsel on all aspects of the procurement process.

Document Control

In addition to the fundamental cataloging, storage and retrieval functions that the document control personnel perform, GLOBAL also tracks and reports the status of critical documents, such as contract mandated submittal reviews and design reviews, and tracks and distributes contract amendments to project staff as necessary. This understanding of document control procedures have allowed our employees to develop a consistent process to manage all project documents, including both hard copy and electronic media, digital photographs and engineering drawings.

Planning and Scheduling

GLOBAL offers a full range of planning and scheduling support for design and construction projects. Our current staff holds responsible positions in various assignments in all phases of project planning and scheduling, which are shared with three distinct perspectives: design consultant, construction consultant and owner. GLOBAL performs CPM networking for all major activities on a project. These activities are coded to the approved Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and are typically cost loaded.

Quality Assurance/ Quality Control

Our Quality Management team has extensive experience on major heavy construction projects for both public and private sectors. GLOBAL offers qualified staff for both quality assurance, and quality control functions. Our QA auditors possess the requisite experience and expertise to carry-out process audits for design, environmental and construction assignments. A complementary cadre of qualified staff is available for quality control field tasks. The range of inspection coverage includes civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and systems installation with current knowledge of today’s standards and codes. Our inspectors possess certifications for various building disciplines with continuous training on best practices and safety emphasized as a key component of our corporate strategy. We are also positioned well to provide Environmental Quality Assurance services and Safety Management.

Reporting Services

Project Reporting and sound Project Procedures are an integral part of the GLOBAL project control services. Reporting, to the greatest extent practical, is delivered in electronic format tailored to the Client’s specific requirements. Project procedures are developed in a collaborative effort with the Client’s project team to assure that the project procedures are compatible with the Client’s management style.

Resident Engineering

GLOBAL maintains highly qualified Resident Engineers and Construction Managers to administer the construction management functions in the field. These individuals have experience in a wide array of projects, including commercial buildings, bio-medical, defense, education, entertainment facilities, petrochemical plants, rail transit systems, retail, seaport facilities, technology, utilities and others. Our staff is focused on safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
